Gu Hotel Patong

They tried to accuse us of breaking the window and demanded we pay 15,000 baht, but we refused to pay.

Noise, bathroom lock wont work, Ac unit not working properly

Broken window, told staff to fix this and were helped and alocated in another room directly

Staff very friendly and professional, always helpful and smiling, Ji the receptionist was very friendly also was given free upgrade

Penthouse was great for a family with space for everyone

Water pressure was low didn’t always have hot water Toilets didn’t flush at times Beds were very hard

I liked this hotel cos it had good location, friendly stuff,nice breakfast,comfy bed ,room was very clean,also it had nice pool with beautiful view

Location was very good and close to beach , Bangla road and airport bus, stuff was amazing they were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good,pool view was beautiful,room was very comfortable

I booked the hotel as it was meant ot have gym and pool facilities and got there to find they were closed. Whil I got to go to Karon Beach it was one of the reasons I booked the GU

This Hotel has a great location, stuff very nice and friendly,room is very clean,bed very comfy, it has nice breakfast,if I comeback to Phuket I will book this hotel again, everything was perfect

The day I checked out and find another hotelThe gym even it is another hotel.

The swimming pool was in maintenance but .. they forgot to inform booking.com to trick customers with not refundable reservations. The room is a storage. Photos are totally chosen and not reality. Every day you ll be locked out and you ll have to go to next hotel to reactivate your card. Terrible WiFi. Not 3 star hotel. Dont come even its free!

That the penthouse rooftop (where I was staying) I could not lock two of the rooms that went to the deck. It was ok (luckily) that I could lock the main door entrance from the lift.The breakfast was nice but not a great selection.

Liked that we had our own pool for us enjoy ourselves and also the staff were always welcoming and the breakfast was really good to have in the morning to kick start our day

One day they turned of the water supply due to maintaince but didnot inform customer and no back up water

The toilet in the bedroom had no window, you could smell the drains.

Good location in Patong, walking a few minutes to the Beach and Bangla road. Close to entertainment scene. Hotel clean and friendly staff , moreover I can used facility at The Gig hotel ( Swimming pool , Bar , Gim ,Sauna and Coffee shop ).

The property is awesome and very good location.It's a good hotel,nice staff.I like breakfast is variety food and fruit also swimming pool very beautiful.

Friendly Staff, access to all the great facilities of the sister hotel The Gig, situated in the heart of Patong and walking distance from the beach.

Noise disturbance and no on-site staff to acknowledge this and intervene. Had to ask cleaning staff and reception more than once to provide additional toilet rolls as there wasn't sufficient. This also happened with soap. Electricity went off one of the mornings and elevator wasn't working for hours, had to climb 6 flights of stairs to get to our room. Standard room facing another hotel with no sunshine and little fresh air as window faced balcony of opposite hotel. Extremely close and so little privacy. This was only communicated at the time of check in. Cash deposit of 1000bhat required at time of check in, first time I ever experienced a hotel asking for a deposit even though a full payment was made at time of booking. This deposit was refundable and would not be accepted by card either. Something I had never experienced before on my travels.

Location

We had been traveling for hours to get there and once we had arrived we were told we could check in at 2pm, after returning after 3pm we were told the rooms would be ready in another 20 mins.At no point were we offered any refreshments and to ad insult to injury we were left to carry out bahs the the 3rf floor in a separate building,!!
